Sokcho Beach Gathering — Bongpo Beach
On Saturday 15 August 2026 USKA spent the day at Bongpo Beach in Goseong, Gangwon — a same-day trip to the east coast, two weeks after the Banpo picnic. Association minivans left Kayembe in Haebangchon in the morning so members could have the beach for the afternoon. The official invitation was still 5:00 PM: conversation, Ludo, Matatu, music, and food on USKA.
The table on the sand had rice, stew and chapati, with the Uganda flag behind the serving pots. Members sat in folding chairs facing the water, stayed after dark, and came home the same night. Photographs from the road and the beach are in the gallery below.
