USKA Association Picnic — Banpo Hangang Park
On Saturday 1 August 2026 the Ugandans In South Korea Association met at Banpo Hangang Park for an evening picnic by the river. From 5:00 PM members spread mats on the grass, shared food, and stayed until dusk — the first open-air gathering of the new committee’s summer calendar.
The park sits on the south bank of the Han in Seocho-gu, with the river and the Seoul skyline as the backdrop. It was an informal evening: conversation, Ludo and Matatu, music, and snacks. No tickets, no programme beyond being together.
The Executive Committee thanks everyone who came, brought something to share, and helped set up. Photographs from the evening are in the gallery below.
