Guide: Emergency travel document

If your passport is lost or stolen, contact the Uganda Embassy promptly. This reference list helps you prepare for an emergency travel-document request.
This is a locally maintained reference checklist adapted from long-standing community guidance, not a substitute for instructions from the Uganda Embassy or an authorised consular channel. Fees, forms, and submission methods can change.
Prepare before you contact the Embassy
- Two recent passport-sized coloured photos (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm).
- Colour copy of a valid Ugandan ID, such as a National ID.
- Colour copy of a valid Korea-issued residence ID.
- Completed Form G.
- A short letter explaining the circumstances of the loss or urgent travel need.
- Police report for a lost or stolen passport.
- A return envelope and registered postage if the current process allows a postal application.
Before you submit
Ask the Embassy which channel is currently accepted for urgent cases, whether an appointment is needed, and which fee applies before sending original documents.
Download Form G from Documents & Resources.
For Korean residence-status questions, use the official Hi Korea service or the immigration office responsible for your address.
