Guide: New East African Passport applications

This checklist is adapted from long-standing community guidance. Requirements can change — always confirm with the Uganda Embassy or authorised consular channel before applying.
Typical requirements
- 4 passport-sized coloured photos (4.5cm × 3.5cm; white background; no glasses, scarves or hats; both ears visible)
- Coloured copy of the old passport (visa and bio-data page + page 45, where applicable)
- Coloured copy of a valid ID issued in Korea (e.g. residence card / alien card)
- Filled Form G (download from Documents)
- Filled passport renewal / application form as directed by the Embassy
- Coloured copy of the National ID (front and back) of any representative collecting on your behalf
- Embassy recommendation letter if required
- Return envelope with postage for registered mail if applying by post
