Ugandan Students WhatsApp | USKA

Students are a large part of the Ugandan community in Korea, and they often arrive without a local network. The Directorate of Student Affairs keeps a WhatsApp group so new students can ask practical questions — housing, campus life, immigration appointments, and the next USKA gathering — without waiting for a formal event.

The group is a notice board and a welcome, not a substitute for official immigration or university advice. Share it with someone who has just landed; do not treat it as a public comments thread for the whole association.

Who looks after students

Ainembabazi Elizabeth is Director of Student Affairs on the 2026–2028 committee. The students get-together that had been listed for 16 August 2026 was postponed; a new date will be announced on this site and in the group when Student Affairs sets it.
