The Ugandans in South Korea Association (USKA) — Korean name 주한 우간다인 협회 — is registered with the Korean tax authorities as a non-profit organization treated as a corporation for national tax purposes (법인으로 보는 단체).

Unique number (고유번호): 315-82-85566. Issue date on the certificate: 30 March 2026 (Dobong Tax Office · 도봉세무서). Date of formation noted on the approval notice: 26 March 2026. Representative named on the certificate: Ssempungu Joshua Kirabo (President).

Purpose recorded on the approval: support for settlement of Ugandans in Korea and mutual aid among members (재한 우간다인 정착 지원, 회원 간 상호 부조). The certificate is for an organization that does not operate a for-profit business under the unique number; starting a profit-making business would require separate tax filings under Korean law.

You can download the official registration pack (unique number certificate, obligor designation notice, and approval notice) under Documents: “Korean registration certificate (주한 우간다인 협회)”. For public contact and membership, use [email protected] and the details on the Contact / Membership pages — the certificate also lists the registered office used for tax registration.

This registration is the legal foundation for USKA’s 2026 programme with members, partners and the Uganda Mission.
